Digital Home Documentation

Protect your home and belongings with a complete digital record – before disaster strikes.

Let's Talk
About the Scan

What Is a 3D Home Documentation Scan?

A Matterport 3D scan creates a complete digital model of your home — every room, every detail — captured in a single visit. Think of it as a virtual walkthrough you can explore on your phone, tablet, or computer anytime. It records your home’s layout, finishes, and belongings so you have a permanent, visual record of everything you own.

Why Insurance Professionals Recommend It & How It Helps During a Claim

The outcome of a claim often depends on what you can prove existed before the damage. Without documentation, homeowners rely on memory — leading to disputed values, underpaid claims, and stressful back-and-forth with adjusters. A 3D scan provides clear, undeniable proof of your home’s condition and contents, captured proactively before any loss occurs.

When you file a claim after a storm, fire, or other disaster, your scan becomes your strongest evidence. Walk your adjuster through a complete digital tour of your home as it was before the damage.

What Gets Documented?

The scan captures a full 360° view of every room, including flooring, countertops, fixtures, appliances, and personal belongings. With the Pro package, individual items can be tagged inside the scan with purchase receipts, serial numbers, appraisals, and replacement values — creating a clickable inventory tied to each item’s exact location.

How the Process Works

Step 1: Schedule

Contact Bradberry Construction & Design to book your scan.

Step 2: Scan

A technician visits your home and captures the full property in a single visit, typically in under two hours.

Step 3: Data Collection

Our scan technician gathers receipts, certificates of authenticity, and documentation for all major assets and valuables you want tagged and recorded in your scan for insurance purposes.

Step 4: Process

Your scan is built into a fully navigable 3D model, with asset tagging showing your documented items linked to their exact locations (hours vary by package).

Step 5: Deliver

You receive a permanent hard copy of your scan file, along with steps to set up a free Matterport account where your live scan will be hosted.

Step 6: You Own It

The scan is yours to keep and use for insurance claims, estate planning, or any future need.
About the Scan

You Own Your Scan

From there, you can explore the full 3D model, share the scan with your insurance agent, contractor, or family members, and add labels to important items like appliances, electronics, furniture, or valuables — building a detailed digital record of your property over time.
